MAC MY DAY PRESENTS THE INAUGURAL

Fine Wine Dinner & Auction

WHERE

Vintners' Hall, London

WHEN

23 April 2026

We invite you to join us for an extraordinary evening where exceptional hospitality meets life-changing purpose.

The inaugural Mac My Day Fine Wine Dinner and Auction transforms one of London's most treasured historic venues into a beacon of hope for the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy community.

Your evening begins with a Champagne reception in the intimate Drawing Room, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner expertly paired with fine wines in the magnificent Livery Hall.

While you savour world-class cuisine in this centuries-old setting, you'll be directly funding innovative research that could unlock treatments - or even a cure - for the devastating muscle-wasting condition that affects Master of Wine Rebecca Gibb's 10-year-old son.

Every toast, every bid, every moment of this unforgettable evening brings us closer to changing lives forever.

"We're on a mission to bring hope to every family living with Duchenne."

Where a passion for wine becomes a force for hope

Mac My Day was founded by Master of Wine Rebecca Gibb after her son Mac was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This charity blends the goodwill of the wine community with a worthy cause to accelerate research into this rare but devastating condition.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy affects approximately one in 3,500 boys worldwide, causing progressive muscle weakness and degeneration. Children with DMD typically lose the ability to walk by their early teens, with life expectancy severely impacted without intervention. While there is currently no cure, promising research is advancing rapidly—and every pound raised brings us closer to breakthrough treatments that could transform or save young lives.

Through events like our Fine Wine Dinner and Auction, Mac My Day is building a movement where passion for wine becomes a force for hope, ensuring that boys like Mac have the brightest possible future ahead of them.

Hope on the Horizon

For decades, families received devastating Duchenne diagnoses with little hope.

Today that's changing rapidly. Breakthrough treatments are already extending mobility and improving quality of life. Gene therapies, exon-skipping drugs, and innovative muscle regeneration approaches are moving from laboratory to clinical reality. New treatments offer real hope, helping children with DMD stay stronger and more active for longer than ever imagined.

The critical factor now is funding to accelerate research and bring these promising therapies to more children faster. We're no longer just managing DMD; we're racing to cure it, and we're closer than ever before.
