THE 2026 MAC MY DAY

Fine Wine Dinner & Auction

Vintners' Hall, London

23 April 2026

Where a love of wine becomes a force for progress.

The inaugural Mac My Day Fine Wine Dinner and Auction brings the wine community together for an exceptional evening in one of London’s most distinguished historic venues.

The evening begins with a Champagne reception in the intimate Drawing Room, followed by a refined three-course dinner, thoughtfully paired with fine wines and served in the magnificent Livery Hall.

Beyond the table, this occasion represents a rare opportunity to combine generosity, expertise, and shared values. Proceeds from the evening will support vital medical research, helping to accelerate progress in areas where meaningful advances are now within reach.

This is an evening where fine wine, considered hospitality, and purposeful action come together - not symbolically, but tangibly.

Why this evening matters

Mac My Day was founded by Master of Wine Rebecca Gibb after her son, Mac, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a rare genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness in children.

Like many families, Rebecca and her family were confronted with a diagnosis that carried profound uncertainty. Duchenne affects boys from early childhood, gradually limiting mobility and independence as the condition progresses.

Mac My Day exists to transform that uncertainty into action: bringing the wine community together to help accelerate progress where it matters most.

About Duchenne

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy affects approximately one in 3,500 boys worldwide. Until recently, treatment options were extremely limited, and outcomes were largely unchanged for decades.

Today, that picture is beginning to shift. Advances in genetic science, drug development, and supportive therapies are opening new pathways - extending mobility, improving quality of life, and reshaping expectations for families living with Duchenne.

The critical factor now is funding. Targeted support helps move promising research from laboratory to clinic, ensuring that breakthroughs reach children sooner, rather than later.

An evening designed to be enjoyed.

The evening is designed to unfold at an unhurried, convivial pace, allowing guests to settle in, reconnect, and enjoy the company of fellow wine lovers.

A Champagne reception sets the tone in the Drawing Room, followed by a thoughtfully curated three-course dinner served in the Livery Hall, with wines selected to complement both the menu and the moment.

Between courses, there is time to explore the auction highlights, enjoy conversation, and take in the atmosphere of this remarkable setting.

The night concludes on a high note - the auction. Lively, generous in spirit, and shared among people brought together by a love of wine and good company.
